About This Product
Type NM-B (nonmetallic-sheathed) cable is designed for both exposed and concealed installations in dry locations, with a maximum temperature rating of 90°C (ampacity limited to that of 60°C conductors as per NEC). It is commonly used for residential wiring in branch circuits, outlets, switches, and other loads. NM-B cable can also be run in air voids of masonry block or tile walls, as long as the walls aren't exposed to excessive moisture or dampness. The voltage rating for NM-B cable is 600 volts.
